EDMONTON – People in Strathcona County are being asked to reduce their water use between this Tuesday and Thursday.

Upgrades to the Anthony Henday will affect some of the water supply line into Sherwood Park.

Residents may notice low water pressure during the three days.

“Right now we’re just asking for them to reduce non-essential water use, so that could be things like avoiding washing your car, deferring washing your driveway, maybe holding off on a load of laundry until later on in the week,” said Jeff Hutton, the Director of Utilities for Strathcona County.

“Even small things like shutting the tap off when people brush their teeth can make a huge difference if everyone does a couple of those things.”
