VANCOUVER – There are unconfirmed reports a 55-year-old Revelstoke man involved in a fight over the weekend has died.
It happened around 11:15 a.m. on 9th Street close to Queen Elizabeth Park.
Police were called to a report of an interaction between the victim and a 33-year-old man on the roadway in the School Zone at that location.
The victim was immediately transported to the Queen Victoria Hospital. He was later transported by BC Air Ambulance to the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
Police say it is not clear what provoked the incident.
The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
