PARIS – French hotel chain Accor SA says the manager of one of its hotels in Ivory Coast missing since he was kidnapped about two months ago has been confirmed killed.
Accor CEO Denis Hennequin said in Thursday’s statement he was “deeply shaken and shocked by this revolting murder” of Stephane Frantz di Rippel, who was general manager of the Novotel Abidjan at the time of his kidnapping.

Accor said it is still waiting for the results of the investigation concerning the three other hotel clients kidnapped with di Rippel, including another French citizen.
The four have been missing since April 4, when around a dozen armed gunmen entered the hotel and kidnapped the men.
