TORONTO – Edward Cocaine of Fort Lauderdale was arrested Tuesday for — wait for it — drug possession.
During a bond hearing Wednesday, people in a Florida courtroom laughed out loud when a bailiff announced the name of a man accused of a drug possession, the Sun Sentinel reported.

“What?” County Judge John Hurley asked.
“My last name is Cocaine,” the 34-year-old suspect said.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Cocaine’s name appears on his driver’s licence and is his legal name.
“I’m still trying to absorb this,” the judge said. “You know, I’d thought I’d seen it all.”
Cocaine is accused of possessing Xanax.
The judge released Cocaine on his own recognizance.
