MONTREAL – Revenu Québec has announced it will be extending its income tax deadline another five days until May 5.
The extension comes after the gross disruption of online services to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) because of the Heartbleed Bug.

Though Revenu Québec services were not affected by the virus
Revenu Québec has promised not to penalize any Quebecers who wish to process their 2013 taxes during one of these additional five days.
As of April 14, nearly 2.7 million tax returns had been filed with ImpotNet Quebec, their online service.
That’s around 80% of the 3.3 million Quebecers who file taxes.
