ENFIELD, N.S. – A Nova Scotia man is facing 17 counts of possession of proceeds of crime after a year-long investigation.

RCMP say 59-year-old Kenneth Pittman of Enfield also faces a charge of money laundering.

Investigators have seized over $100,000 in assets including a vintage 1969 Corvette, other vehicles and cash.

In addition, police say they have restrained $300,000 worth of assets including two properties owned by Pittman in Horne Settlement.

Insp. Jim MacDougall says the restraint of the homes means the deeds are essentially locked pending the outcome of legal proceedings.

The investigation began last July when RCMP charged Pittman with possession of marijuana for the purposes of trafficking and cultivation.
