Regina Police had a busy start to the weekend, with over 100 calls coming in for service Friday night.

Most of the calls were alcohol related, but the most serious incident was a hit and run in the Northgate Mall Parking lot at 1:26 a.m.

According to police, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle after returning from the Craven Country Jamboree on the bus.

The suspect fled the scene and was located shortly after by police in the south end.

He’s been charged with impaired driving and hit and run.
