RCMP responded to two fatal motor vehicle collisions in southeast Saskatchewan Friday afternoon.
Just after 1:00 p.m., RCMP arrived on Highway 10 just north of Balgonie. They confirmed one person dead and two others injured. The collision was between two vehicles, one of which ended up in a slough.
The deceased is a male. His age and identity have not been released.
The other vehicle was driven by an adult female and a 17-year-old. Both were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Just before that collision, RCMP also responded to a collision near Moosomin, on Highway 1. Upon arriving police confirmed the collision involved a car and a semi, which resulted in the death of an adult female.
The deceased was the lone occupant of the car.
The driver of the semi was not hurt.
