TORONTO – One person has been taken to hospital and another has been arrested following a stabbing at St. Roch Catholic Secondary School in Brampton.
The school was in lockdown as police investigated but was released shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
A 17-year-old student was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Peel Region Paramedics Services.

Three other male teenagers have been arrested.
Police tell Global News the stabbing happened after several people intervened in a fight inside the high school just before noon Tuesday.
The school is located on Valleyway Drive near Williams Parkway and Chinguacousy Road.
Some surrounding schools were also placed in hold and secure but have too been released. Schools in a hold and secure continue classes but have their outside doors locked to prevent anyone from entering or leaving the building.
