Two children in the pickup, aged 10 and 11, were taken to Kelowna General Hospital along with the driver of the SUV, a man in his late 20’s. Police describe the injuries as minor.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts.

Traffic was blocked off from the area, as the light standard was knocked out of place, which caused a safety concern.

The woman driving the pickup walked away unharmed.

Police say the driver of the SUV is facing potential traffic ticket for driving without due care and attention. The SUV had our of country plates.
