WATCH: Minors that “sext” can face life-long consequences

Many teenagers own smart phones, where everything they receive and send is within their fingertips.
Sometimes that easy access to cyberspace can make them vulnerable to predators and different forms of harassment.
A South Okanagan campaign called “THINK B4 U SEND” hopes to educate teens on how to safely use their phones and the dangers of sending a sexualized image or text.
It warns there are many emotional and social impacts related to online youth exploitation.
