A Texas A&M university professor is very lucky to be alive following an incredible collision with a cement truck and the whole incident was captured on a dash cam.
Police say the driver of the cement truck ran a red light and attempted to take evasive action to miss other vehicles in the intersection. As seen in the video, the truck loses control, flips on its side and slams into Professor Guan Zhu’s minivan.
Miraculously, Zhu was not seriously injured and was amazed when he saw the video. “I could not remember exactly how it happened and then the video says that’s how it happened, kind of turning like 45 degrees before it hits my vehicle.”
The driver of the cement truck also was not seriously injured, but police gave him a ticket. It took crews several hours to clean up spilled cement.
