CALGARY – Some slight lane adjustments to accommodate a new phase of construction will be facing drivers who have suffered a summer of delays heading northbound on Deerfoot Trail.
Three lanes of traffic have been squeezed into two small ones at the Ogden Road flyover since the end of May.
Traffic has been keeping to the left as it heads past the project. Now, things will reverse, and vehicles will keep to the right as construction continues on the left hand side heading northbound.
Officials hope work to overlay the bridge deck on this section will end on Aug. 5. Crews will then shift their attention to similar work on the Calf Robe Bridge until roughly Oct. 15.
Southbound Deerfoot Trail traffic will not be affected.
