TORONTO – Mayor Rob Ford was once again fodder for late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel as he premiered a “mockumentary” style advertisement for a documentary about the mayor, entitled “The Great White Ford.”
“You know that I am completely in love with Mayor Rob Ford,” Kimmel said as he led into the joke. “So you can imagine how excited I am about his new documentary one of the Canadian cable channels is running.”
The advertisement starts by describing the mayor as “savage” during his arm wrestle with Hulk Hogan, “cunning” during a city council debate where he pantomimed drunk driving, and “exceedingly sweaty.”
The advertisement is the latest in a string of Ford-related jokes in Jimmy Kimmel’s monologues. Kimmel recently called out mayoral candidates for not calling attention to the mayor’s drug use during a televised debate and took jabs at the mayor after Project Brazen documents were released mid-March.
Despite being a constant source of jokes, the mayor appeared on Kimmel’s show on March 3, where he was openly derided by the late-night comedian.
