A fund has been set up to help a Langley family after they were attacked in their home last week.
The 44-year-old was arrested near Fernie one day later.
Through a statement, the Cella family is thanking everyone for their help and for reaching out to them. “We would also like to thank all the emergency services including police, fire department, ambulance, victim services, the Langley Quilters Guild and the Royal Columbian Hospital staff for their unbelievable teamwork to create the safest possible situation over the last four days.”

They are also asking for privacy at this time so they begin the healing process.
A fund has been set up to help the mother, Sonia, and her children get back on their feet. The Cella Family Trust Fund at the Langley CIBC branch 720 will be open for 30 days. The account number is 46-86632 and cash or cheques can be brought in person, or mailed.

Richard is facing 13 different charges, including three counts of attempted murder, and charges of arson, break and enter, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily hard and breach of recognizance.
