TORONTO – The Toronto Zoo is enlisting the help of animal lovers to help them name its newest baby gorilla.
The public is encouraged to go online and suggest a name for the female Western lowland gorilla born on January 10.

Ngozi, the baby’s mother, already has a son named Nassir who was born in 2009.
The Western lowland gorilla is an endangered species and the Toronto Zoo has seven in its possession.
The submission deadline to name the new baby is April 22 and the winner will be announced later in the month.
