SASKATOON – A crash Tuesday morning in Saskatoon sent a police officer to hospital.
The officer was on his way to a call around 7:50 a.m. when he was involved in a two-vehicle crash on 33rd Street West at Circle Drive.

His emergency equipment was activated at the time of the collision.
He was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries and has since been released.
The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
The westbound lanes of 33rd were closed for over five hours while the collision analyst unit investigated.
