The council of the College of Physicians and Surgeons has charged Regina Dr. Olanrewaju Onasanya of improper and unprofessional conduct under the Medical Profession Act.
He is accused of touching a female patient inappropriately, and making inappropriate comments during a medical exam.

Dr. Onasanya hasn’t yet entered a plea in this case. If he pleads not guilty, he will have to appear in front of the disciplinary committee.
If he pleads guilty his penalty will be decided at the next council meeting.
He is still entitled to practice until this case concludes.
