CALGARY – Family of former alderman and MLA Jon Lord have unveiled plans to honor him at a public ceremony.
Jon Lord died of a heart attack last week, shocking his friends and colleagues.

The 57-year-old will be remembered at a celebration of life at the Central United Church at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd.
Speakers at the event include Councillor Peter Demong, MLA Ric McIver and MLA Wayne Cao.
There will also be a slide show highlighting Jon’s Career.
