WINNIPEG – A recycling operation in southern Manitoba has been destroyed by fire.
Pembina Valley Online says the fire broke early last evening at Gateway Resources in Winkler.
Flames could be seen shooting from the large building when firefighters arrived.

There were several explosions inside the structure, which started to collapse early on, but there were no injuries.
There’s no immediate word on the damage estimate.
