Prior to his role as Dr. Simon Hill on Combat Hospital, Luke Mably has enjoyed a steadfast career in film, television and theatre.

Mably is best known for playing White in the award-winning thriller Exam, Dylan Radcliff who was a vampire in ABC’s The Gates and Prince Edvard in the rom-com feature The Prince and Me starring opposite Julia Stiles and Miranda Richardson.

Mably made his television debut in the recurring role of Paul Ripley on the BBC TV drama Holby City and the incorrigible Scott Lucas in Sky Television’s flagship drama Dream Team for two seasons. Other television credits include Blue Murder (ITV); Kingdom (ITV); Who Gets the Dog? (ITV); the critically-acclaimed historical miniseries Uprising (NBC), featuring an all-star cast including Leelee Sobieski, Jon Voight and Donald Sutherland; the dramatic miniseries In The Beginning (NBC) with Martin Landau and Diana Rigg; and a guest turn on the popular daytime drama, East Enders.

Mably’s feature film debut was in Danny Boyle’s award-winning sci-fi thriller 28 Days Later. Other film credits include the modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet called Star Crossed, Save Angel Hope, Spirit Trap and Colour Me Kubrick with John Malkovich.

Mably has also performed on stage in the U.K. Credits include the role of Shaun in Two Storm Wood at Shotgun Theatre; and Christian in the award-winning play, Festen, at The Lyric Theatre in London’s West End.

When he is not on set Mably enjoys reading, writing, photography, cinema, martial arts and is in the process of obtaining his aircraft pilot licence.

Mably currently lives between Los Angeles and London.
