TORONTO – Police have arrested a man Thursday after he was caught on surveillance video sucking a woman’s toes in a North Carolina Walmart.
According to NBC Charlotte, Michael Brown, 31, faces a misdemeanour assault charge.
“It’s kind of bizarre and strange,” Detective Dennis Harris told NBC.
The woman was shopping Monday when the man asked her if he could help her try on shoes.
Harris said the woman agreed.

“He said ‘follow me to the shoe department,'” Erika Porras told NBC.
Police said the suspect told the woman he was a podiatry student.
“He said ‘I need to take a picture (of her feet) for research,'” Porras’ daughter said. “When he did, he stuck her foot in his mouth.”
Police allege Brown tried the same thing at another Walmart on Monday where a second woman also agreed to take off her shoes, but left when the suspect asked her to take off her socks.
Brown, a registered sex offender, was reportedly convicted in 2001 for breaking into a house and sucking on a woman’s toes.
