Apex Mountain Resort has a new addition: a 304 foot rail. The structure’s purpose is to challenge snowboarders and skiers to slide down the entire rail and set a new world record. The task may sound easy, but the rail is only four inches wide and some athletes find it hard to stay on. Those who have already tried it says balance and speed are key. Angela Jung reports.
