<p>HALIFAX – Temporary foreign workers in Nova Scotia would get protection from job recruiters who charge high fees to help them find work under legislative changes introduced by the province’s NDP government.</p> <p>Labour Minister Marilyn More says the bill would prevent anyone from charging fees to help workers find jobs and require recruiters to be licensed.</p> <p>The government says recruiters have been charging high fees for their services.</p> <p>It says it also found workers who had their employment conditions and compensation changed when they arrived in Canada from when they received their original job offers.</p>
