<p>EDMONTON – The Edmonton Eskimos have signed the grandson of Canadian Football Hall of Fame quarterback Ron Lancaster.</p> <p>The CFL club announced the signing Monday of free agent non-import QB Marc Mueller.</p> <p>Mueller threw for 2,437 yards, 14 touchdowns and five interceptions last season for the University of Regina. He set a Rams’ single-season record in 2009 with 310 passing attempts and a post-season record with 470 yards passing.</p> <p>Mueller was one of two quarterbacks to throw at the CFL combine this spring. The other was Brad Sinopli from the University of Ottawa, who was taken in the fourth round by the Calgary Stampeders in Sunday’s draft.</p> <p>The Eskimos also signed free agent import defensive backs David Pittman and Brian Logan. The 27-year-old Pittman has played several seasons in the NFL, most recently with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010.</p>
