VERNON — A Vernon couple says it’s a dream come true.
Their dream was realized last weekend after winning $1 million from the March 7 Lotto Max draw.
Ron and Donna Ritchie discovered they were millionaires during their Saturday morning routine including a trip to Safeway to pick up some groceries and to check the previous night’s lottery numbers.

“It’s a dream come true,” says Ron. “We won the lottery. The decision to purchase a lottery ticket changed our entire life.”
The Ritchies say they plan on paying off their mortgage, renovating their home and sharing the winnings with their children.
Donna says she’s going to retire.
