Fans will do almost anything to get a souvenir baseball. But, abandoning your kid who’s in a wagon rolling down a hill may take the cake.
That’s what this dad did, in the above video, at Monday’s exhibition game between the New York Mets and Miami Marlins.

Mets outfielder Chris Young hit a ground rule double over the right-center fence, and without hesitation or any regard for his son in the wagon, the dad goes for the ball leaving his son to roll down the hill crashing into the fence.
To make matters worse the dad didn’t get the ball. It’s safe to say that he will not be in the running for any Father of the Year awards.
