Teen at large after escaping from Paul Dojack Centre

A 17-year-old is missing after he escaped from the Paul Dojack Youth Centre early Sunday, police say.

The teenager, allegedly used violence to escape the youth centre around 3 a.m. Sunday.

He was last seen walking east from the facility.

Police now have a warrant for his arrest on charges of escaping custody and assault causing bodily harm.

He is described as aboriginal, about 5’ 11″ tall, weighing about 250 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, and a grey sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath.

Police say he is not known to have many contacts in Regina, but he is orginally from Cumberland House.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crimestoppers.
