This plane is one in a fleet of 23 the military will use as part of the Royal Canadian Air Force’s future aircrew training program.

The program is an $11.2-billion investment, and part of the military’s training modernization strategy to prepare students for the demanding environments they will meet in the field.

“This marks an important milestone not only for the RCAF but for the military aviation of Saskatchewan,” said Maj.-Gen. D.P. O’Reilly. “It marks the first official aircraft introduction to 15 Wing in 26 years.”
