PRINCETON B.C. — One person has been airlifted to Kelowna General Hospital in critical condition after a stabbing in Princeton late Wednesday afternoon.
The stabbing incident happened outside of Dairy Queen on Tapton Avenue just before 5 p.m.
“As police arrived at the location a man was observed holding a knife and allegedly cutting his own throat,” Sgt. Barry Kennedy with the Princeton RCMP said in a news release issued Thursday.

“The man who allegedly cut his own throat is in critical condition.”
Two women, one in her 50’s the other in her 20’s, also suffered from stab wounds. Both were transported to Penticton hospital with what police call serious injuries.
RCMP said the three know each other, but won’t elaborate on how.
No further details about the incident are being released.
The Penticton Serious Come Unit along with RCMP are investigating.
Police are asking any witnesses to come forward.
