PICTURE BUTTE – A boil water advisory for the town of Picture Butte was lifted Saturday morning.
According to the town’s website, as of 11:00 a.m. water was deemed safe for consumption.

Residents are being advised however, to initially turn on several taps in their homes or businesses and let them run for five minutes before using the water to drink.
The boil water order was initially put into effect late Wednesday after a major water main break in the area.
