UPDATE 12 p.m.: Highway 1 is now re-open in Glacier National Park.

The Trans Canada Highway between Revelstoke and Golden is closed Saturday morning due to an avalanche, according to DriveBC.

There is no detour available. The highway is predicted to open by noon.
