Margaret Miller will sign her new book, The Gift: A MADD Mother’s Journey of Healing, at the Mic Mac Mall Chapters store this Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
Miller, from Shubenacadie, N.S. was the national president of Mothers Against Drunk Driving Canada from 2007 until 2010.
In The Gift, Miller discusses how she overcame the grief of losing her 26-year-old son, Bruce, who was killed by an impaired driver.
MADD helped her honour the life of her son, but her book is in memory to all of those who have lost their lives because of drunk drivers.
Miller will also appear at the Bayers Lake Chapters Saturday 12:00-1:30 p.m. and 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Coles in the Halifax Shopping Centre
