TORONTO — Justin Bieber has been kicked out of a popular New York City tourist attraction.

Madame Tussauds in Times Square removed the wax likeness of the Canadian pop star due to damage caused by years of groping and grabbing by fans.

“It no longer does justice either to the star or to the attraction,” general manager Bret Pidgeon told the New York Post.

The wax figure of Bieber was installed shortly after his 17th birthday in 2011 and was fully accessible to visitors.

“This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new ‘grown-up’ Justin back to the attraction in the near future,” said Pidgeon.

Bieber statues remain at Madame Tussauds museums in Hollywood and London.
