Canada comes into Monday’s competition with four medals, and a chance to add a couple more.

Here’s what to watch today:

Short-track speed skating

The men’s 1500-metre event is early today. Quebec’s Charles Hamelin has advanced to the final, and although the three-time Olympic medallist is a short track star, the 1500-metre isn’t his best event. Still, there’s a shot. Finals start at 7:05 a.m. Eastern time (4:05 Pacific).

The women’s 3000-metre relay is also on in the morning, and Canada has advanced to the finals, which aren’t until Feb. 18.

Jennifer Jones’ team plays China beginning at 5:00 a.m. Eastern (2:00 a.m. Pacific).

Women’s hockey
