Winnipeg man dies in snowmobile crash

WINNIPEG – RCMP believe speed and drugs were factors in a snowmobile crash that killed a 32-year-old Winnipeg man on the weekend.

The Mounties were called to a trail north of Tyndall, Man., at about 6:30 p.m. after a single snowmobile crashed.

The Winnipeg man died at the scene of the crash, four kilometers south of Highway 317 along Provincial Road 38 in the rural municipality of Brokenhead, RCMP said in a news release.

Police did not release the man’s name and said the investigation continues.
