REGINA – The province has chosen the first year-long Saskatchewanderer, and it’s a familiar face to the program – Caitlin Taylor was also the Saskatchewanderer for the summer of 2013.

“When I learned that I won the expanded Saskatchewanderer position, I was so excited,” Taylor said.  “In fact, I’m still excited.  I feel like I’m dreaming.  I can’t wait to start sharing our province’s terrific stories with the world.”

Taylor’s job is to show people why Saskatchewan is a good place to play, live and work.

“Agriculture is the backbone of our economy and this expanded Saskatchewanderer program will help us showcase the benefits it provides to everyone in our province,” Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart said.  “Agriculture is a modern, technologically-advanced, dynamic and exciting industry full of opportunity and I look forward to seeing Caitlin tell its true story.”

“We are delighted to welcome Caitlin to the team,” Tourism Saskatchewan CEO Pat Fiacco said.  “She is a fine ambassador and has proven to be a great storyteller and social media celebrity.  Caitlin’s perspective on all there is to see and do in Saskatchewan and the wonderful opportunities here will, undoubtedly, influence people to explore for themselves what our province has to offer.”

Taylor will wander the province until December 2014 and post everything she comes across on social media sites.
