LAKE COUNTRY — Fire ripped through a home in Lake Country last night.
The fire was reported shortly before 11 p.m. at Kal Pines Estates.
The occupants escaped unharmed along with their cat.
They say it appears the fire started in an attached garage causing substantial damage.
The occupants were renting the manufactured home and had stored all their personal belongings in the carport in anticipation of moving into a new home.
They lost everything, however, they are insured.
The cause has been ruled as accidental. Officials are not releasing the cause.
Two neighbouring mobile homes were also damaged by the blaze.
