Juno Cup to rock Winnipeg in March

For the second time in nine years, Winnipeg will be host to the Juno Awards.

As part of the week-long celebration of Canadian music, a team of rockers and celebrities will take to the ice against former NHLers in the Juno Cup, a benefit hockey game for MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity associated with CARAS.

Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy will captain the Rockers team which will also feature Stephen Carroll of The Weakerthans.

Among the retired NHL players who will take to the ice at MTS IcePlex March 28th are three time Stanley Cup winner Mike Keane and former Calgary Flame, New York Ranger and Hartford Whaler, Carey Wilson.
