PENTICTON — A Penticton Toyota manager thought the cars would be overseas by now — after 4 new vehicles were stolen last week.
But Larry Pidperyhora was shocked to learn one of the vehicles was found only 3 KM away from the dealership.
A black 2014 RAV4 was found at a parking lot on the 600 block of Winnipeg Street on Tuesday.
Pidperyhora believes the SUV was driven straight to the parking lot because no extra kilometres were added.
The vehicle was found in good condition.
But the good news doesn’t stop there.
Another SUV, a Toyota 4 Runner, was apparently found yesterday afternoon in Kelowna’s Rutland neighbourhood.
“It feels great. We have hope that we can find vehicles 3 and 4,” says Pidperyhora.
The other two vehicles — a 2014 special-edition Tundra pickup truck and a light blue RAV4 — are worth $90,000 altogether.
Penticton and Kelowna RCMP are now investigating together.
