RCMP investigating suspicious death in Salmon Arm

Salmon Arm RCMP are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death.

Police are releasing very few details at this point, however they have confirmed the victim is an adult woman.

Police say the woman’s death occurred in her residence in a rural area, which is believed to be somewhere along Black Road in Salmon Arm.

They will only say their investigation started around 10 pm Friday.

The investigation is being conducted by the Salmon Arm RCMP detachment as well as the Southeast District Major Crimes Unit.
