TORONTO – It’s been seven days since 52-year-old Jeffrey Boucher disappeared from his Whitby home. With no clues as to his whereabouts or what may have happened to him, police hinted Sunday their search may be coming to an end.
Boucher, a teacher at Bowmanville High School, went missing last Monday after it’s believed he headed out for a morning run.

According to police no one actually saw Boucher get dressed and leave his home, but he was an avid runner who went on routine morning jogs.
“We have not ruled out any possibilities of what might have happened to Jeffrey Boucher and we continue to do everything we can to locate him,” Insp. Nick Lisi told reporters Sunday.
Police are meeting Monday morning to evaluate what their next steps will be. When Global News asked if that means the search may be called off, they said it’s possible, but stressed there is lots of ground still to cover.
Boucher is described as white, six feet tall, 180 pounds with grey and white short hair.
