A Kelowna high school football player is heading south.
On Wednesday, Taylor Loffler of Kelowna Secondary School accepted a full scholarship to Boise State University.
Loffler verbally committed to Boise State early in the season.
The 6’4″, 200 lbs safety/quarterback is the first-ever player from Kelowna to earn a football scholarship to an NCAA Division 1 school.
Loffler is expected to play safety.
He is a three-year starter and was named the B.C. High School Football AAA Player of the Year in 2010.
Loffler set more than 20 school records during his career.
He also drew offers from Oregon State University and Stanford.
