A 27-year-old man is dead after a snowboarding accident at the Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
It happened at approximately 10 o’clock this morning.
The man, who is not from the Revelstoke area, has succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears to be an accident, but they do not know what caused it.
The name of the snowboarder is not being released at this time until next of kin have been notified.
Cpl. Thomas Blakney with Revelstoke RCMP says the man was in the in-bounds area, but was not wearing a helmet.
They are in the process of determining if he was with anyone else.
