EDMONTON – Police in Edmonton are looking for a couple in their 70s who disappeared almost four weeks ago.
Perry Kit Wong, who is 72, and his common-law wife, Eloise Fendelet, who is 71, were last seen by a friend Dec. 27.
Concern mounted when the two failed to return to work on Jan. 3.
Friends and co-workers made their own inquiries at first in an attempt to find the couple, but eventually contacted police.
Another Edmonton-area couple disappeared last summer and have not been located.
Lyle and Marie McCann, both in their 70s, were last seen July 3 gassing up their motorhome in their home town of St. Albert before a trip to British Columbia.
Their burning motorhome was found July 5 about 200 kilometres west of Edmonton. Two weeks later, the SUV they had been hauling was found abandoned in thick bush in the area.
Suspect Travis Vader, who was arrested in August, remains in custody on unrelated charges.
There is a $60,000 reward for information leading to the McCanns.
