A total of 8,856 customer’s were impacted. Approximately half were back on by 1:30 p.m. and the remainder were restored to power by 2:20 p.m.

Enmax says the cause of the outage was predominantly weather related (a large quantity of heavy snow impacted operations at Substation #9).
