Oakville Police cannot confirm if the incident was a suicide, but say indications lead them to believe it was.

No passengers were aboard the train at the time and there were no reported injuries to either of the two-person crew onboard.

Train service was restricted for approximately 3 hours while the investigation went on, but there will be no delays as a result of the restricted service.

Halton Police have taken the carriage involved in the incident
