Air Canada reinstates all flights to London

TORONTO – Air Canada is reinstating all flights to and from London’s Heathrow Airport starting tonight.

The airline announced this afternoon it’s going back to its regular schedule after several days of strict flight restrictions due to extreme weather in the U.K.

That means some flights will leave Canada for London this evening.

Nine Air Canada flights from Heathrow are scheduled to land in Canadian airports Wednesday.

The airline says it could still take up to a week for some travellers to reach their destinations since the flights are already booked to capacity.

But it says seats could become available as some travellers cancel their trips.
