WINNIPEG- The Trans Canada Highway was down to one Westbound lane Friday night after a semi truck carrying carrying mail slid off the road.
RCMP responded to the crash on Highway 1, West of Headingley, Manitoba. just after 7 pm.

Officers tell Global news the driver lost control of his truck and hit the ditch.
The driver was treated on scene for minor injuries.
RCMP say icy roads were not a factor.
Traffic was delayed for several hours while crews cleared the scene.
