Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for parts of southern Alberta, with winds expected to reach up to 100 kilometres an hour on Tuesday.

The weather warning is effect for Okotoks, High River, Claresholm, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Magrath, Crowsnest Pass, Pincher Creek and Waterton Lakes National Park.
The strong westerly winds are expected to die down by Tuesday evening.
